We offer several different kinds of digital products and the license varies depending on the product’s function (ex: commercial use printables for resell, social media templates to market your own business, etc.), the format (ex: Canva or PowerPoint templates), where the graphics were sourced, and if the license includes any special extended use allowances.
After you purchase a digital product from our site, along with access to the product, you will also receive the license that is specific to that product. You are encouraged to read it and refer back to it, as necessary, to ensure you are following the requirements of the usage license.
Below, you will find some examples of the licenses generally provided with our products.
Note about graphic elements: I have highlighted the sections that have to do with graphics. Whether a graphic can be extracted for use elsewhere, will depend where the element was sourced from (ie., graphic artist, in-house design, public domain). If the product uses graphics that are in the public domain or Creative Commons, then there is no restriction on how you use those graphics. If the element comes from Canva’s free library, then you would be bound by their terms. The usage terms for graphic elements created in-house or by an independent graphic artist will vary, but they will be outlined in the license. Please pay particular attention to this when reviewing your license.
Keep in mind, this page is only a general reference. Always read the product license that accompanies the products you purchase, in the event there are additional guidelines or requirements.
